The region around Aš offers ideal conditions for cycling of all kinds. Light traffic, varied terrain, lush forests and open meadows create a great backdrop for leisurely rides and sporting achievements. The routes lead through forgotten villages, along border trails, to lookout towers, ruins and places where Czech, German and Saxon culture meet.
A big attraction is the area around Háj hill, hikes towards Trojmezí, leisurely forest paths to Doubrava or circuits along the former Iron Curtain. Children and recreational cyclists can handle the local terrain, but experienced bikers or gravel fans will also find something for themselves. In addition, it is possible to connect the routes with a trip to Germany and enjoy a whole day in the saddle without disturbing traffic.
