Hiking in Aš and the surrounding area

Hiking is one of the best ways to discover the charm of the westernmost corner of the Czech Republic. Aš and its surroundings offer a wealth of marked and lesser-known trails that lead to lookout towers, border monuments, picturesque villages and quiet places where time has stood still. Walking through the landscape without rushing will give you the opportunity to perceive details that would otherwise easily be missed - the singing of birds, the scent of the forest, the rustle of leaves underfoot.

The trails are suitable for beginners, families with children and more experienced hikers. You can take a short walk to Háj Hill, follow the Iron Curtain, go around a nature reserve or plan a full-day hike to the Tri-Border Border, where three countries meet. All without unnecessary elevation gains, yet with a sense of adventure and discovery.
