Ayurvedic herbal practice in Aš

We invite you to this year's weekend course on everything related to the use of medicinal herbs, essences and oils.
Let's learn what Aromatherapy, Ayurveda and permaculture offer us when working with herbs and processing them into a home pharmacy.

The course is suitable (not only!) for teachers and parents. You will take away ideas for activities with children, and you will also learn how to take care of yourself so that you can have a peaceful new school year. We will meet at the Municipal House of Children and Youth Slunicko, where there are also classrooms equipped for cooking, so we will prepare spice mixtures as helpers for the coming autumn. At the end of the summer, we will make several herbal cosmetic products.

Herbs from the garden and meadow - we will learn the correct timing and method of collection, combinations of herbs in the garden and how to use them in a home pharmacy - tea blends, macerates, tinctures, syrups, ...

We will discuss traditional Ayurvedic practices - we will learn about the dosage of herbs and the timing of various types of cleansing and suitable methods for rejuvenating the body.
We will be inspired by the Ayurvedic typology of Vata, Pitta, Kapha for elements, plants, foods, moods, colors, stones, oils and essences. We will try basic pranayama techniques. DinaCharya is the art of a regular daily routine and we will learn how important it is to observe the season around us and sometimes change our habits. Of course, we will also look at our diet and digestion, we will get to know sugar and salt closely .

The practical part of the weekend is the production of medicine, which you will take home with the recipes.
We will make: a skin oil for the summer to prevent sunburn; we will infuse herbs into oil for massages; we will learn the difference between skin balm and lip balm with beeswax; we will prepare everything we need for cosmetic skin treatment from what we have in the kitchen - peeling, mask, tonic, nourishing cream and other surprises...

Price: 5000 CZK , including many materials for the production of medicine in organic quality (deposit payment is a reservation of the place)

The food will be communal, seasonal and delicious, vegetarian/vegan.
We will advise those registered on nearby accommodation.

Schedule: Saturday 9 am – 6 pm, Sunday 9 am – 3 pm
