Organ concert in the Evangelical Church of St. Martin

The concert in the Evangelical Church of St. Martin as part of the Week of Organ Concerts in Bohemia, Franconia and Saxony will take place on August 3rd from 3:00 p.m. You are cordially invited.

Come and listen to an organ concert as part of a festival that aims to introduce the public to the exceptional organs, which the ones in the Evangelical Church of St. Martin certainly are.

The organ of the Saxon organ builder Carl Eduard Schubert (1830–1900) from 1860 is a particularly unique type of historical instrument. Schubert conceived this first work in a very unconventional way, considering the time when the organ was created, namely as a loose copy of the large organ of Gottfried Silbermann (1683–1753). The unique organ has been preserved in its original condition.
