It's Christmas, carols are everywhere and a dragon has appeared in the city. In fact, a rather frightened dragon that wandered here from the mythical dragon land. Nine-year-old Sara befriends him, takes Mortimer of the same age into the party, and together they turn this year's holidays of peace and quiet upside down. Their adventure will be remembered by the small town for years to come. Not to mention that the dragon is an exceptional friend, but it is not very suitable for our world. He is still a clumsy cub, attracting attention and sometimes starting to spit fire at the most inopportune moment. The eyes of parents, police and television crews will soon start to focus on the whole successful trio. All that remains is for everyone to escape and help the dragon back home, to his dragon land in the rocks. But the kite must try to take off and everything is heading for a really fiery final. “When I was a kid, I loved movies like Gremlins or E.T. Alien, movies full of adventure, humor and emotion, in which anything could have happened. I'm glad that we can bring just such a story to cinemas, similar to the ones that inspired me to start making films, "says director Katarina Launing. "In front of the school in Dobřichovice, we created a square and a Christmas festival with lots of Christmas stalls and a giant inflatable Santa Claus. Just so that in the entertaining scene, when the dragon gets scared and starts to confuse, we turn over all the stands and drop them, ”recalls Pavel Berčík from Evolution Films, who co-produced the film.
