Conversation with Klára Teršová

This year, it all came together very nicely! Aš has two serious notches in its literary trunk! After the publication of the book by Korean author Han Kang, I Will Not Say Goodbye Forever, translated by Petra Ben-Ari, the third book by Aš author Klára Teršová will be published in the spring.

Klára has already published two books – Bílý pramen (2022, Argo) and Až ke křížku (2023, Argo). Her latest book, titled Nebesa, will be published in March this year.

Klára Teršová was born in 1989 in Aš. She studied political science at the University of Hradec Králové and economics at the Czech University of Life Sciences . She spent two semesters in Salamanca and Granada, Spain , and worked as an intern in Brussels . In 2020, after returning to Aš, she began publishing posts on her blog Made in Zapadákov .

Last year, Klára and her family left Aš permanently, but her latest book, Nebesa, is set in the Aš setting, and we are happy that she accepted our invitation and will come to present the book to us.

The public discussion, to which you are cordially invited, will take place on April 22, 2025 in the adult section from 5:00 p.m. Tickets ( presale 80 CZK / on the spot 100 CZK) can be purchased at the Aš Infocenter .

On April 22, 2025, two more discussions will take place during the morning, which are intended for students of the fifth and sixth grades of the Gymnasium in Aš.
