The Memory of the Nation Karlovy Vary Region, in cooperation with the municipality of Krásná , would like to invite you to a meeting and ceremonial opening of the outdoor exhibition entitled:

When the Iron Curtain Fell

📅 When: August 21, 2025 from 4:00 PM
📍 Where: intersection on the Czech Trail near the now-defunct village of Újezd (Krásná municipality)

The exhibition recalls the true stories of people whose lives were fundamentally affected by the presence of the Iron Curtain. In the very places where freedom once ended and the forbidden zone began, a space is opened for remembrance, understanding and sharing of history.

🔸 The exhibition was created as part of the Memory of the Nation project
🔸 The event is supported by the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic and the municipality of Krásná
🔸 After the opening there will be space for informal meetings
