Discover the via ferrata at the nearly forgotten Čertovy skály (Devil’s Rocks), located between the village of Podhradí and the summit of Háj. This natural attraction lies at an elevation of 666 m and can be reached via a marked 2.5 km trail from the main parking lot at the Háj sports complex. The route is also followed by the Faust cycling trail (marked in purple), making it accessible to cyclists as well. Alternatively, you can start from the Podhradí bus stop, which is just 1.5 km from the ferrata.
This via ferrata is suitable for both beginners and experienced climbers. The route traverses the rock face and spirals upward to the peak of the highest rock. After crossing a suspension bridge, you'll descend to a neighboring rock where the route ends. The difficulty levels range from A and B to more demanding sections rated C, with a total secured length of 80 meters.
The Háj sports complex also offers rental services for ferrata gear and bikes — perfect for spontaneous trips without your own equipment. Additionally, a new ferrata is planned for construction in the area, expanding the range of climbing adventures soon.
This ferrata is featured in the 3D Ferraty mobile app, which provides:
