What is the lecture about?
What is it like to walk halfway across the planet and is it even possible? That's exactly what the vagabonds wanted to find out, so they packed their backpacks and set off from Bali, Indonesia, on an incredible journey of over 22,000 kilometers all the way home to the Czech Republic.
During their journey, which lasted several years, they crossed Indonesian volcanoes, slept with locals, fought tropical heat and omnipresent vermin. They passed through the absolute chaos of Indian cities, climbed the freezing mountains of Nepal and continued through forgotten corners of Asia to the Afghan deserts.
Along the way, they met countless incredibly hospitable and interesting people who helped them when they needed it most.
Viewers can expect a completely authentic – and at times slightly masochistic – story about difficult improvisation and situations that you simply cannot imagine from the living room couch. It includes exclusive photos and videos directly from the field, but above all a large dose of specific humor that is typical of Vagabundy.
