The woman who cooked her husband

The play begins as Hillary (Kenneth's ex-wife) is preparing a dinner to celebrate Kenneth and Laura's three-year wedding anniversary. The main course is supposed to be a "surprise." In flashbacks, the viewer learns all the events leading up to this "last dinner."

Kenneth and Hillary had been happily married for almost twenty years before Kenneth (stylized as Elvis Presley and going through a midlife crisis) fell in love with another woman. At first, Laura seemed to embody everything Kenneth was missing from his marriage, but soon the affair spiraled out of control and a whirlwind of lies, excuses, and accusations ensued. Soon, Kenneth was forced to confess to his wife and move in with his lover Laura.
