Come and get in the mood for Advent together, we invite you to the Lighting of the Christmas Tree 2025.
The relaxed meeting will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 4 p.m. and we will first meet in the Evangelical church for a joint concert of elementary and kindergarten students in Hranice. This will be followed by an accompanying program on the square and at 6 p.m. the ceremonial lighting of our Christmas tree.
Last year you decorated the tree yourself and thanks to that it won a beautiful award in the Christmas Tree of the Year poll by Deník. This year you will compete and create again. This time for the BEST HANDMADE Nativity Scene. The announcement of this competition will take place at 5 pm and the nativity scenes will then decorate the space of KafeBar Beseda. Bring your nativity scenes to KafeBar Beseda in Hranice during opening hours (Thu - Sun 2 pm - 6 pm). Marked with a sign with your name, age, and telephone contact on the other side and no later than November 27th.
