Book Bazaar

Although the library seems like a stable and immobile place, where dust quietly settles on the shelves, books and librarians, the opposite is true. Sometimes there is even a buzz like on a stock exchange. New books arrive almost every day and old ones have to leave the shelves, willy-nilly. Sometimes it is very difficult to judge which book has to go.

However, we give discarded books a second chance. We sell them at the Book Bazaar for a symbolic 5 CZK per book.

In March, you will have the opportunity to purchase discarded books on Saturday , March 15, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. And then the entire following week from March 17 to March 21 during standard library opening hours - in the adult department.
