A conversation not only about books

A conversation with Štěpán Javůrek, who has already written eight very successful books. He has lived his entire life in the Ore Mountains, which he enjoys exploring and writing about in his free time.

In his first work, Cottages, and in the trilogy, Sudeten House, which followed, he explores the turbulent history of the borderland and the fates of its inhabitants. In Nebi nad Perninkem, he returns to the Ore Mountains again, but this time in the present day. The educational publications Krušnohorské osudy I. and II. present the current tourist location against the backdrop of stories.

and in his latest novel, The Velvet Years, he moved to a lighter and more humorous treatment of a story from the 1980s.
